I enjoyed doing the love and kindness meditation and subtle
mind exercises. I like the love and kindness meditation because it wanted us to
express our feelings for others and not just in a romantic way but in a “respect
all things, love mankind everyday type of way. With this exercise I felt as
though I was releasing negative energy while making a way for more positive energy
to come into my life.
I enjoyed subtle mind because it showed me how to focus and
remain calm through difficult situations. During this exercise it asked that
you take the pain of a loved one and manifest it onto yourself. This was hard
for me but helped me to understand a little of the pain my loved one was
experiencing.
I can implement both these exercise in my life by applying
them to school, work and home. Having patience, learning and understand what
others feel and go thru and just giving off great energy is what a person needs
in order to feel they are making a difference.
